Day 1 Cape Town

Days 2-3 Cedarberg/ Orange River

Responsible for South Africa's famous diamond deposits, this peaceful river also forms the border with Namibia. Glide across the placid waters in a canoe and watch a sunset over the ancient Richtersveld Mountains.
Day 4 Fish River Canyon

Travel past forests of quiver trees, lofty succulents that live up to 300 years.

Day 5 Sossusvlei

Look for animals and birds including oryx and ostriches on the way to the Namib Desert. Spend a day climbing the world's highest dunes and exploring the parched landscape of the Sossusvlei.

Days 6-7 Swakopmund

Thrill to the immense silence of the desert while travelling across the moonscapes of Namib-Naukluft National Park. Enjoy Swakopmund's sandy beaches and scores of good restaurants.
Day 8 Spitzkoppe

Sleep beneath the shadow of Namibia's most striking mountain, the Spitzkoppe. Admire age-old cave paintings and catch a golden sunset.

Days 9-10 Damaraland

Be charmed by the Cape Cross seal colony then discover the breathtaking desert wilderness, volcanic mounds and tree-studded rivers that characterise Damaraland.

Days 11-12 Etosha National Park

With the largest population of black rhinos on earth, plus springboks, zebras, giraffes and more, the salt pan of Etosha is unmissable.

Day 13 Waterberg Plateau Park

Take an optional game drive across the plateau to try and spot rare Cape vultures.

Day 14 Windhoek

The journey ends in Namibia's colonial-style capital.
