4 Day Kruger Walk

South Africa's famous Kruger National Park is reputed to have the widest variety of animals in the entire continent. See many of them at close range as you forge through the park's rolling savannah, granite ridges and forests of acacia and sycamore fig. Ride an open safari vehicle to try and snap that special shot of lounging big cats or grazing elephants, and amble through the bushveld with an expert guide for a closer encounter. This short but thrill-packed adventure puts you right in the middle of the action.

Day 1 Johannesburg/Greater Kruger National Park

Sawubona! Welcome to South Africa.

This tour departs early (around 7am) on day one. It is highly recommended that you spend the night before the tour in Johannesburg. We are able to book you accommodation at our safe, exclusive Jo'Burg Lodge- just ask us at time of booking.
You'll love the comfy permanent tents, and great pool and bar area.

On day 1 we travel from Johannesburg to the Manyeleti Game Reserve in Greater Kruger - a prime Big 5 area sharing unfenced borders with Kruger (approx 6-7 hours total travel time, 520km) . We head to the unfenced Ndzhaka/Buffelshoek Safari Camp in open game-viewing vehicle, game spotting as we go.

After lunch followed by a camp orientation there time to relax before we set off on our first guided game walk (approx. 2 hours) in the capable hands of a qualified ranger and guide followed by sunset drinks. This evening we head out on a guided game drive in open game-viewing vehicle led by a qualified ranger and tracker, using spotlights after dark to search for predators on their nocturnal wanderings. We take our dinner at the main lapa followed by coffee around the campfire, enjoying the sounds of the African bush.

Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

Overnight: Our accommodation for the next three nights is permanent safari tents under thatched or rubberized canvas roofs on raised wooden platforms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The tents sleep two people per tent on comfortable stretcher beds with mattresses. Bedding and towels are provided.

Days 2-3 Greater Kruger National Park

We begin the day with a sunrise guided game walk (approx. 3 hours) in the capable hands of a qualified ranger and guide before a hearty breakfast at the central lapa followed by time to relax at camp. In the afternoon, we are off on anther guided game walk (approx. 2-3 hours) followed by sundowners. Embarking on our evening guided game drive, we again employ spotlights to search for movements of predators hunting through the dark hours. Tonight, enjoy another delicious dinner in the great African outdoors.

Day 4 Johannesburg

We enjoy one last sunrise guided game walk before breakfast. It is then time to depart and we drive to the Manyeleti main gate in open game-viewing vehicle, game spotting as we go. This afternoon we transfer back to Johannesburg, arriving in the late afternoon (approx. 6-7 hours total travel time, 520km).
